* In September 2022 NDI was not anymore supported in the OBS version 28 -however it was still possible to use the previous version OBS 27.2.4- but they finally declared that version 28 was supporting the NDI plugin: https://obsproject.com/kb/obs-studio-28-plugin-compatibility

 

Make sure to enable the NDI features on the Cameras' WebGUI:

Install instructions

Windows

  • Using the installer (recommended) : download it, launch it and follow the instructions.
  • Using the obs-ndi-4.9.0-Windows.ziparchive:
    1. Copy the contents of the archive to the root of your OBS Studio installation folder
    2. Install the NDI 4.5 Windows runtime using the installer provided here: https://ndi.palakis.fr/runtime/ndi-runtime-4.5.1-Windows.exe

On Windows, you must reboot your computer to make a new or updated NDI Runtime installation effective

After you have rebooted your computer, launch OBS and open an NDI source:OBS


Use the source name drop down and choose the preferred camera that presents itself:Camera selection
