Troubleshooting

  • If the camera does not respond to the remote, check that the IR address on the camera matches the selected address on the remote. Default is 1. See also: CM4x/CM7x/CM9x IR Remote Control Buttons.
  • The OSD menu is only visible on HDMI/SDI outputs. Ensure one of these video paths is connected when adjusting OSD settings. For an overview of OSD navigation, see: OSD menu.

  • Remote Controller does not work
    1. Check the power of the controller.

    2. Check the RS-232 or RS-485 cable quality, length, polarity and network architecture.

    3. Check the serial communication settings on the camera and controller.

    4. Check the VISCA / PELCO address settings on the camera and controller.

    5. Check the IP network settings on the camera and controller.
