Can the CD500 controller be set to DHCP?

Yes in the CD500 web Gui (by default on 192.168.5.50, admin/admin) : Settings > System, you can enable the "Automatic Configuration (DHCP)" if you have one DHCP server in your local network (CD500 is not a DHCP server but a DHCP client). Cameras should be configured in the same way
