Prerequisites:
- a CM93 camera
- an active LC90-1 tracking license
This Tracking (No Zoom) mode is absolute position based, you can activate the tracking from any PanTilt position. The working is mostly the same as the Conference Tracking mode except it does not need a preset to be activated, making it compatible with a multitude of conferencing systems like MVI or Televic, which use absolute positions.
Things to keep in mind:
- The zoom function is not active for this tracking mode (i.e. the zoom level as defined in the absolute position, will be maintained)
- The Body Position is not used as the zoom function is disabled.
- The Lower Left and Upper Right tracking limits are not active.
- The tracking speed (Pan Tilt movement) only uses its lowest possible setting. This tracking mode is designed to keep a delegate during a conference in the frame if he or she moves around while speaking.
- If a tracked person is lost for whatever reason during tracking, the camera will stay on the Pan/Tilt position where the tracked person was lost.
1. Navigate to the tab 'Tracking':
Open the webinterface of the camera using an incognito browser window and navigate to the 'Tracking' tab. Select the Tracking (No Zoom) mode.
2. Activate the tracking.
This Tracking (No Zoom) mode is designed to work mostly the same as the Conference Tracking mode, only in this case the tracking can be activated from any position, a preset is not necessary. Direct the camera to its desired position and turn on the tracking. Remember that the zoom is not active on this tracking mode and that it only follows at the lowest speed.
