Getting Started

The Avonic CON300-IP is a versatile PTZ camera controller that supports IP and serial protocols. Follow the steps below to ensure a successful installation and first-time use.

  • Use the included power adapter only: Only use the supplied 12V/2.5A adapter (model GME60C-120400FDR).
  • Connect the controller before powering on: Always connect camera(s) and network cables before switching the controller ON.
  • Set IP address manually: The controller requires manual IP configuration via the menu before IP control is possible.
  • Ensure same subnet: The controller and camera(s) must be on the same network subnet (e.g., 192.168.5.xxx).
  • Assign camera channels: Cameras must be assigned to CH1–CH5 to enable control via buttons or joystick.
