Introduction

This document explains the firmware releases done for specific Avonic camera models. It contains different release versions that correspond with the versions mentioned in the Webgui. In this document is described what is new to the firmware of the camera and what changes are made to that firmware. There is also a history of the firmware changes started with the (date) of the latest release and followed by older ones.
The new firmware itself can be found at the Camera product page on the Avonic website.

This firmware update introduces stability improvements, protocol enhancements, and extended control capabilities.

Improvements & Fixes:
Resolved an issue that could cause the WebUI to become inaccessible.

• Improved ONVIF behavior and reliability.

Zoom Control Update (VISCA):
Adjusted VISCA zoom range while maintaining backward compatibility:

• Normal zoom range: 0 – 4200
• Digital zoom range: 4201 – 5000

New Features:
Added mDNS support for easier network discovery.

                    Example hostname: CM82-IP-XXXX.local

• Added VISCA control enhancements (extended functionality support).
• Added RTSP enable/disable switch for more flexible stream management.
