There are three ways to reset a CM4x/CM7x/CM9x camera back to its factory defaults :

1- From the web GUI of the camera, as explained below.

2- From the IR remote control (see article How can I reset my camera with an IR remote control?)

3- From an Avonic PTZ controller (see article How can I open the OSD of my camera with my CON300-IP controller? and reset from the OSD menu)


* Please note that this will restore the camera back to its default 192.168.5.163 IP address

You can reset your camera back to its factory defaults by pressing the DEFAULT button in the camera's web GUI (SYSTEM tab > Default):
